Accessibility
Last updated 20 September 2026
This site should work for everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or a browser zoomed well past 100%.
What is in place
- Every page can be reached and used with the keyboard alone, and each one opens with a "Skip to content" link.
- Buttons say what they do instead of relying on an icon, and images carry text descriptions.
- Text and background colours are chosen for contrast, and the layout reflows rather than breaking when you zoom in.
- Movement on the page switches itself off when your system is set to reduce motion. The one exception is the strip of short phrases that scrolls past: it keeps moving, because standing still it had to be dragged by hand to be read. Everything it says is also written in plain text elsewhere on the page.
Where it falls short
This is honest work in progress, not a certificate. The site has not been audited by anyone outside it, and there will be corners that are harder to use than they should be.
