Privacy

The short version: I collect what is needed to send you your order and nothing else, I do not sell it, and you can ask me to delete it whenever you like.

What is collected

• When you buy: your name, delivery address, email address, a phone number if you give one, and what you ordered. The checkout is run by Shopify, which stores this on my behalf.
• When you email: your email address and whatever you write.
• When you browse: the server hosting this site records the usual technical detail of each request — IP address, browser and the page asked for — as part of running and protecting the site.

What never reaches me

Your card details. Payment is handled by Shopify and, where you choose it, PayPal. All I ever see is whether the payment went through.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The checkout, which runs on Shopify, sets the cookies it needs to remember your basket and keep your session secure. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this page will say so and will say it before they are switched on.

Who else sees your details

• Shopify, which runs the store, the checkout and the order records.
• The payment provider you choose at checkout.
• The carrier delivering your parcel, which needs your address and often your phone or email for delivery notifications.
• Nobody else. Nothing here is sold, rented or handed over for someone else's marketing.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Email me and it is done within 30 days. Erasure cannot cover records that tax and accounting law requires me to keep.

How long it is kept

Order records for as long as tax law requires. Emails for as long as the conversation is useful, then deleted. If you ask for erasure, everything not legally required to stay goes.
